I finally dabbled in oil painting, I've hesitated for so long because I thought it was too much work. I really really like it. Here is my first attempt at it. Im sure there is more to come

Early Stages

Here is a peak at two different series I am working on, Im not sure which direction they're going in yet. I got these photos of kids jumping, so I figured I would put em jumping off shit. The birds are one of many ideas I've been meaning to do already, the are watchers and they move so strategically like a camera so I put the two together.

These are some skulls that Im working on, using the same pattern as the sphere. These ones where a bit more challenging. I still want to add some stuff to them. I'm really just trying a lot of different mediums. Nothing is really consistent in subject matter just yet.

Process

Here is this geometric sphere dodad, that was interesting to do which took alot of time to do. I had to draw each square individually to get it to look right. It was done in gouache

Vintage work

Here are some charcoal drawings that I've done most are recent, I think two of them are older from when I was attending the academy. I was also hesitant to use charcoal because it is kinda messy, but I like it alot. It seems most of the mediums I thought I wouldn't like I really enjoy now.

Finally

I've been meaning to get a blog started for sometime now, finally I have. I will try to update whenever I feel like it.
